We are looking for a dedicated Reception Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Pendleton for a long-term position running until the end of the summer term.
Start Date: 22nd April 2025
Pay: £130-£160 per day (depending on experience), with the opportunity to pay to scale before 12 weeks!

The Role
As the new Reception Teacher, you'll play a crucial role in shaping children's early learning experiences. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment that supports early development.
2. Delivering play-based, hands-on learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework.
3. Observing and assessing children's progress to support their individual learning needs.
4. Collaborating with teaching assistants, parents, and fellow educators to ensure a strong support system.
5. Building trusting relationships with children, fostering confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you'll need:
1. QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
2. Experience teaching in Early Years (Reception experience is ideal, but not essential)
3. A CV with clear employment and education history, with any gaps explained
4. Excellent references
5. The right to work in the UK
6. Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
