Payroll Officer, Industry, Perm, Co. Armagh

A global manufacturing business with a leading brand and local employer of choice are seeking to appoint a Payroll Officer on a full-time, Permanent position.
Your new role
1. The role will consist of ensuring accurate and timely processing of wage payments to the factory-based operatives across multiple sites (Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland & Great Britain).
2. To review and process all available wage data, including worked hours, additional payments, statutory payments, tax code changes, pension changes etc.
3. This role also entails accurate review and reporting of related payroll information, i.e. management reporting, month end holiday information, worked hours breakdowns etc as requested/required by the TL role.
4. Liaising closely with relevant linked departments (HR, Accounts) to ensure accurate transfer of information.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Knowledge & previous experience of a payroll environment.
2. Thorough and meticulous with extreme attention to detail.
3. Self-disciplined to follow documented instructions.
4. Data entry skills and experience.
5. Experience using Microsoft Office packages.
6. Ability to identify and escalate issues.
7. Excellent communication skills responding to queries from both internal and external stakeholders.
8. Good interpersonal skills within a team.
9. Experience maintaining data with a high level of data accuracy.
