The successful candidate will report to Senior Management and must be hardworking, reliable, and possess excellent communication & inter personal skills. Key responsibilities: Assisting with tendering and estimating. Reporting to Commercial Manager on commercial performance of projects. Liaising and working closely with Project Managers and Site Engineers to ensure smooth running of Projects. Completing Cost / Value Reconciliations on the project and sub-contract packages. Identifying and agreeing variations. Compiling and agreeing valuations and final accounts. Procurement of materials. Obtaining and evaluating subcontract quotations. Placing orders with suppliers and sub-contractors. Building relations with the Client and their team and attending progress meetings. Essential Criteria: Degree in Quantity Surveying. Knowledge of Civil Engineering construction methods. Experience of Construction Contracts. Experience of the various Methods of Measurements. Efficient in Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication and reporting skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Valid driving license. Desirable Criteria: 5 years relevant experience.
