As a qualified Head Therapist, you will manage a small team of therapists to provide professional services such as massages, therapies, and beauty treatments to our guests using our vegan cruelty free and sustainable product brands.
You will be managing the salon environment and treatment diary, whilst maximising opportunities for guests to enjoy our facilities and get the best out of their visit.

A hands-on leader who will participate in carrying out treatments throughout the week.
An individual who has a high level of knowledge specific to your area of expertise and uses this skill and knowledge to coach leaders and team to thrive.
Great communication skills to ensure you and the team create an excellent, quality ‘experience’ within the Spa.

Role Responsibility
Lots to do but lots of fun
Our successful Head Therapist will be responsible for:
* Assessment of all therapists, constant development and training in specialist treatments and customer service.
* Provide treatments and training within the therapy department to the highest standards of service whilst supporting the Manager with business demands.
* Constantly maintain high levels of room and therapist presentation ensuring rooms are kept in a clean, hygienic, safe and well-maintained condition.
* Fully understand and monitor daily treatment and retail sales revenues and ensure these are effectively communicated to all therapists.
* Liaison with product suppliers with regard to training needs, improving retail sales, stock, retail displays and promotions.
* Organise and control an effective stock management system of all treatment and retail products, following standard Purchase Order procedures.
* Assist the Spa/Therapy Manager, interview, trade test and select all new therapists.
* Carry out regular appraisals of all therapists in accordance with the hotel personnel procedures.
* Ensure the efficient and effective scheduling of therapist rotas.
What skills do I need?
In-depth knowledge of a variety of waxing services, facials, massages and beauty treatments.
Good financial knowledge with the ability to manage costs in line with the Spa budget.
Able to set targets to ensure the department maximises on all sales opportunities.
Able to manage multiple priorities and adapts quickly to changing requirements.
