We now have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Head of ICT Programme Delivery to contribute to the delivery of several projects efforts which will help Sheffield City Council reach new heights, becoming an even more reliable and impactful organisation for our communities.
In this role, you will lead and drive the successful execution of our Digital Programme, playing a pivotal role in advancing the ICT roadmap to support the Council’s vision for efficient, effective services and the city’s broader ambitions. You will ensure ICT systems not only enhance service delivery but also meet statutory, strategic, and regulatory standards. As a key business relationship manager, you will foster strong partnerships with senior stakeholders to align technology solutions with the Council’s needs. This role demands significant experience in programme and project management. Key responsibilities include shaping the ICT and Digital Innovation strategic roadmap, leading the ICT Programme Delivery team, managing finances to ensure value for money, and presenting progress and investment proposals to senior leadership. What We Are Looking For:
* Proven track record in leading large-scale Digital Programmes
* Strong experience in building relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders
* Advanced knowledge of both existing and emerging technologies and their applications in public services
* Experience working at a senior level in a complex organisation, with an ability to manage financial, human, and physical resources effectively
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and accessible way
* Demonstrable success in managing change and motivating teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
