Production Supervisor
We are currently working with a well-established and forward-thinking client looking for a Production Supervisor to join one of their sites located just outside Stratford-upon-Avon. This is a pivotal role that requires an experienced supervisor who is accustomed to a fast-paced environment from industries such as Manufacturing, Automotive or FMCG.
This is a critical leadership position overseeing production and warehouse operations, responsible for managing teams of line and warehouse team leaders. The role demands precise execution of all operational activities while maintaining rigorous standards of quality, regulatory compliance, workplace safety, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supervisory responsibility for a team of production line leaders and warehouse team leaders ensuring that all operational and warehouse activities are completed accurately, concisely and to the required standards of quality, legality and safety.
2. A key part of the role is to coordinate the activities of the warehouse and packhouse ensuring continuity of supply and timely order output in compliance with product specification.
3. Effective management of staff including the organisation of people, materials, labels, operational throughput and packaging.
4. To ensure that all information and systems required for the accuracy and ongoing effectiveness of the Prophet data input system is managed correctly and to the required standards.
5. Ensure effective housekeeping and safety standards are maintained.
6. Cross train and develop staff, provide support and ensure that team members are instructed and supervised effectively.
Key Skills & Requirements
1. Experience of ERP systems including data input, reconciliation and reports.
2. Computer literate to an intermediate standard with particular requirements for MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
3. An understanding of retail supply chain logistics.
4. Educated to national QCF level 4 in an academic or relevant vocational qualification.
5. Level 3 Supervising Safety in Manufacturing.
6. Health & Safety for Supervisors.
7. To live within a commuting distance.
Hours of Work: Sunday Thursday or Tuesday Saturday, 6pm - 4am.
