The key purpose of this role is to assist the Head of Project Management with the delivery of development, construction, and refurbishment of Group projects to the requirements of internal and external stakeholders, including institutional investors, funds and banks. Having a proven track record in managing complex and time sensitive construction and refurbishment projects, coordinating cross functioning teams and ensuring project delivery within budget, on time and to specification. Duties will include assisting the Head of Project Management with the development of supply chain and specification, establishment, together with the coordination of in-house and external design team members to support and manage the commercial success of the department. Key Responsibilities include: Assisting with the coordination of various capital refurbishment, extension and new build projects ranging in value from £1m to £15m Overall delivery responsibility through the RIBA Stages Assisting the head of project management with the development of specification both on a project-by-project basis and on a Group basis. Facilitating the formation, coordination, and management of panels of PQS and Architects to work on agreed Mansion framework agreements. Working on setting project budgets and control of capex and fees from acquisition through to completion Assisting with the pre-acquisition construction and property due diligence including identifying costs of remedy, necessary surveys and reports required. Procurement of Surveyor’s reports to obtain funding approvals including commercial negotiation of content. Facilitating the development and management of supply chain members, principal contractors, subcontractors and consultants in order to achieve set objectives to quality and cost. Liaison with internal and external stakeholders to provide appropriate reports, ensuring milestone feedback and meeting overall KPI objectives. Working to ensure legal requirements are in line with development agreement, facility agreements and any others Assisting the of Head of Project Management and the Director of Acquisitions in the execution of special projects Coordination of other junior team members throughout the project life cycle.
