An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Northern England (predominately Yorkshire) territory as a Clinical Therapy Consultant within the Pain Therapies team there required to ensure optimum therapy outcomes for our patients.
If you are a new graduate who has a proactive, positive, can-do mindset and a self-starter who is eager to develop their career and clinical expertise with Medtronic, this role is for you. It is a temporary role (12-18 months) with an opportunity to become permanent.
A Day in the Life
1. Manage customer and patient interactions with Medtronic devices.
2. Provide technical support in the operating theatre and patient clinics.
3. Perform trouble-shooting functions and resolve customer issues in key accounts.
4. Effectively collaborate with sales, clinical and engineering teams to ensure best use and practices of our devices within key accounts.
5. Ensure own competitor knowledge remains up to date along with the ability to promote Medtronic products in line with clinician and service needs.
6. Provide data in line with the weekly business demands.
Must Haves
1. Degree in Bio-Science, Radiography, Life-science, Biology, Physiotherapy, Nursing, or another relevant, advanced degree (preferably in Neuroscience).
2. Healthcare related experience with a commercial mindset.
3. Strong organizational skills.
4. Excellent communication and influencing skills.
5. Driving licence.
Nice to Haves
1. Knowledge of theatre etiquette and wider hospital policies relating to interaction with industry representatives.
2. Experience in clinical or technical interaction with healthcare professionals and patients.
