We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual to join our Heat Network Team on a 12-month secondment. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in managing our heat networks and ensuring reliable, efficient heat and hot water services for our residents.
How you’ll do it
As a Heat Network Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the Heat Network Team, managing a portfolio of approximately 18 heat networks, and delivering services to both internal and external stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing proactive administrative and project support to ensure value for money for NHG and our customers.
* Managing contracts, handling customer queries, and delivering high-quality data analysis and financial reporting using Excel.
* Gaining a wide range of skills, including heat network maintenance, billing (credit and prepayment), compliance with heat legislation, and assisting with the handover of new heat networks to our operational portfolio.

Pending confirmation of legislative changes, this role may require a qualification to demonstrate competence. If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification.

* Experience in contractor and/or stakeholder management
* Working knowledge of heat network services
* Understanding of property compliance requirements and relevant statutory regulations
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills
