Office/Home Based (Hybrid working with a regular travel to London)
About the Organisation
Our client is a membership network for community organisations. Their goal is simple: to help community organisations be the best that they can be and to create a supportive environment for their work.
They are now looking for a Community Organisation Development Officer to join them on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.
Ideal candidates will be based in the South of England due to regular travel into London.

The Role
As a Community Organisation Development Officer, you will deliver high-quality support to community-based organisations and other stakeholders across the south of England, with a particular focus on London.
Specifically, you will provide one-on-one advice and deliver workshops, training sessions, and other means of support to ensure community organisations thrive.
You will also work to develop external relationships with local authorities and other organisations, contributing to our client’s wider aims through consultancy work, research, and other projects.
Additionally, you will:
- Engage with member organisations, listening to their needs and utilising their experiences
- Contribute to income generation through consultancy work
- Help foster partnerships and alliances that support our client’s mission
About You
To be considered as a Community Organisation Development Officer, you will need:
- Experience of working in or supporting communities, whether in a paid or voluntary role
- The ability to deliver credible advice to community businesses and organisations
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, both digital and in person
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to self-manage
