The HR & Admin Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring that employees have a smooth transition during their short/long term assignment\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Onboarding support: Assist in the pre-onboarding/onboarding process for employees on short/long term assignments, ensuring they have the necessary resources, documentation, and information.\n\n * Visa & Immigration Coordination: Help facilitate visa and work permit applications, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
Maintain updated records of visa statuses and work authorisation for each assignment.\n\n * Policy Guidance: Provide employees with information regarding company policies, cultural norms, benefits, and local legal requirements to ensure they feel prepared and supported in their assignment.\n\n * Liaison with External Partners: Collaborate with external agencies, immigration partners to ensure seamless operations and communication.\n\n * Documentation & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to assignments, immigration statuses, and employee benefits.\n\n * Communication & Support: Serve as a point of contact for international assignees, addressing questions and concerns related to relocation and assignment experience.\n\n * Compliance & Reporting: Assist with ensuring compliance with local labour laws, tax regulations, and company policies regarding international assignments. Support preparing reports related to assignments as needed.\n\nExperience and Qualifications:\n\n * Fluency in both English and Chinese is essential.\n\n * HR/Admin experience is advantageous.\n\n * Ability to work independently and with high self-motivation.\n\n * Exceptional organisational and planning skills, with a keen eye for detail
