Our client is looking for a Credit Controller/Accounts Assistant to work at their office in Trafford Park, Manchester.
The main duty of the role is to credit control the Debtors Ledger, which currently has around 1000 live customers. In addition to that, the role involves providing assistance in the running of the Accounts Department and various administration tasks, including processing reconciliations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Manage and reconcile Customers Ledgers, posting all receipts.
2. Manage and reconcile Third Party Leasing Company Ledgers, posting all receipts.
3. Set up new customers in the Direct Debit Scheme when requested.
4. Manage and reconcile the monthly collection of monies from customers listed on the Direct Debit scheme.
5. Manage and reconcile the Company Credit card account usage.
6. Answer telephone calls from customers.
7. Ensure that customer records are up to date by monitoring rejected emails and contacting customers to obtain new details.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Previous credit control/accounts experience.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Comfortable with Microsoft Office products.
The rate of pay is £27,000 per annum.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm (1 Hour Lunch).
