Job Description Job Title: Electrical Engineer Description: We are seeking an ambitious Electrical Engineer to join our client, based in Cookstown to manage and oversee Electrical Projects. This is a role that offers a lot of autonomy and you will have the opportunity to work across different manufacturing departments. The Role: To produce accurate BOM’s for electrical purchase components and responsible for the interpretation of clients’ requirements in the design phase of projects Preparation of detailed electrical design and general arrangement drawings for the manufacture of motor control & power distribution panels with all relevant specifications, standards and safety regulations Keeping up to date with changes to applicable legislation to suit the global market Specify Site specific cables and components of all plant items Project Preparation of documentation for the testing, inspection and commissioning of the electrical systems Focus on reducing cost and cycle time on current plant equipment and projects Keeping up to date with technological advances and new products Develop personal skills and capability through on-going training, as provided by the company or elsewhere subject to company approval Liaison with Suppliers to ensure electrical design is per manufacturing capabilities Understand and management Electrical CE Marking Requirements and create the electrical session of the Technical File for each product and project Understand and apply the requirements for IEE wiring regulations 18th edition Participate in Quality reviews and process control systems Follow electrical processes and procedures to ensure high quality drawings and BOM’s are in line with company processes Experience in design of electrical control systems using EPLAN and AutoCAD systems Project management skills Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance product quality, profitability and customer satisfaction Adhere to HR and H&S policies The Person: Good level of secondary education with high degree of numeracy and literacy Educated to degree in an Electrical Engineering discipline 2.1 or above (or 5years relevant Health & Safety qualification Experience in BOM Creation, Understanding of Electrical office requirements Software knowledge of EPLAN and AutoCAD Computer literate in Windows based Software Products and proficient with AutoCAD and E-plan Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Good interpersonal skills Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team Ability to coordinate with manufacturer Aptitudes to develop skills to manage electrical projects Ability to set and meet time-lines Proven organizational skills with the ability to effectively plan, organise Attentive to detail The Reward: Competitive salary range of £35,000 to £40,000, based on experience (Grads will be considered on a lesser package) Flexible hybrid working options to support work-life balance.
