Overview
We’ve a great opportunity for someone special to join our team at the top and to be part of some remarkable, ground-breaking projects. We are looking for passionate and talented Senior Landscape Architects. The ideal candidate will have between 5 and 15 years professional experience. They will possess a strong background in landscape design and project management, with a passion for creating innovative outdoor spaces. As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will lead projects from conception through to completion. Your ability to lead a team, and have expertise in various design software and your ability to manage multiple projects will be essential to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
* Lead the design and development of landscape architecture projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and site requirements.
* Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and team members to create innovative designs that incorporate climate-resilience, and great biodiversity throughout.
* Utilise design software including Sketchup, AutoCAD, and the Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality work.
* Manage teams, project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively while maintaining open communication with the Principal Landscape Architect.
* Oversee the construction process, providing guidance to contractors and ensuring that the final build aligns with the proposed designs.
* Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to continuously enhance design practices.
Requirements
* A degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field is essential.
* Proven team-leading experience in landscape architecture with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
* A creative mindset with attention to detail and a passion for sustainable and ethical design practices.
