About the role
This specialist school, based in Bristol, is looking to recruit an experienced Classroom Support Assistant to join their team. In the role of a Classroom Support Assistant, you will be supporting children and young people who have complex needs to work towards their individual academic goals, as well as helping the class teacher with any tasks they may have such as preparing for lessons and clearing away and assisting with break and lunch time supervision. This is a full time/long term role, meaning the appointed Classroom Support Assistant will be required to work Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:30 to 16:30.
About the school
This SEND school supports children and young people between the ages of 5 to 17 who have complex needs such as Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH), and Autism.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Classroom Support Assistant you will:
1. Have enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be willing to go through the DBS process if you do not already hold a certificate.
2. Have experience working with SEND pupils.
3. Be able to work as a team as well as individually.
4. Be kind, caring, and compassionate.

Salary
£350 to £450 per week, dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
