The role is to manage the accounting operations for 2 separate businesses reporting to the single Managing Director. This is a varied role, requiring the management of smooth operations for both businesses while being responsible for all day-to-day account functions.
Duties include:
1. Bank reconciliations
2. Monthly reconciliation reports with invoice Finance for Wacnet
3. Balance sheet reconciliations
4. Quarterly VAT returns
5. Month end accounts
6. GP reports for analysis by Director and sales team
7. Year end accounts preparation for submission to Accountants
8. Cash flow forecasting
9. Purchase Ledger
10. Sales Ledger
11. Credit Control
12. Bank transfers in various currencies
13. Payroll for Wacnet
14. All supplier and client queries
Qualifications:
1. Experience with Xero preferred (Quickbooks or SAGE experience accepted)
2. Strong, proven experience in producing month end management accounts
3. Strong communicator
4. IT literate with advanced Excel skills
5. Accurate and quick data input skills
6. Ability to cope with pressure
7. Enthusiastic and self-motivated
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
