Transaction Recruitment are supporting our client based by Birmingham Airport in their search for an experienced Payroll Officer to join them on a permanent basis. You will be working as part of a successful finance function and will be responsible for overseeing a monthly payroll of 500+ employees. This position offers hybrid working.
Experience and responsibilities required include:
1. Taking ownership of collating information for a monthly payroll of 500+ employees, to be administered by an outsourced bureau.
2. Manual calculations experience to ensure the accuracy of payroll.
3. Reconciling payroll and resolving discrepancies.
4. Resolving escalated payroll queries.
