WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING As a Reception Supervisor, you will be the lead host for our guests prior to arrival, during their stay and after returning home. You will ensure all guest preferences, expectations and special occasions are well prepared and delivered. You will find solutions to comments and ensure guests are completely satisfied through excellent cooperation with various departments. Your passion for service will make you an ambassador for an exceptional guest experience and inspire the team to make our guests feel valued. THE DUTIES: Support the running of our day-to-day Front Office, inspiring our receptionists to create a memorable, effortless experience for our guests – from when they arrive, over the course of their stay and until they get their bill and head off again. Work with all our teams on keeping our rooms nicely booked and help with any overbooking levels. Answer phones, sort out requests, and give recommendations in the local area. Work closely with our Housekeeping and Engineering teams to make sure everything is running smoothly when it comes to our guests’ stay. Monitor and coach all reception staff to ensure guest satisfaction. To observe and make certain that all staff on duty are aware of the security, health, and safety regulations. Being consistently aware of the hotels and local availability. Maximising all opportunities to sell rooms at the best possible rate. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN YOU At least 2 years experience supervising a front office team in a luxury hotel preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skills Highly organized, and results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure. Fluency in English, secondary language preferred A passion for high-quality guest service with attention to detail and the ability to multitask. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite required and excellent knowledge of Opera.
