Striving for a better service leads to a better you. About Us The CBT centre is the only tertiary CBT service in the Trust with its base in Newcastle upon Tyne. It sits within the Centre for Specialist Psychological Therapies, alongside distinct services in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, Family Therapy and Personality Disorders. The working relationships with colleagues in these services are excellent. We accept referrals for patients who experience a wide range of complex psychological disorders, receiving referrals from tertiary, secondary and primary care. Individual once weekly CBT is offered as well as preparatory groups for clients waiting for therapy. Interventions are provided on an outpatient basis.
