Lecturer - Trainer Assessor - Plumbing and Gas (fixed-term, part-time evening classes)
We are looking for a Lecturer/Trainer Assessor - Plumbing and Gas to join our Construction Team.
Part-time, temporary role offering a salary of up to £11,170.22 per annum.
This role is 9hrs per week, covering 6 hrs teaching time across 2 evenings.
Fixed term dates: Immediate start available - contract ends August 2025.

Job Purpose:
To assist with the development, organisation and management of high-quality teaching and learning in the curriculum area of Construction/Electrical. To provide high quality, flexible teaching, learning, advice and assessment to students on Work Based Learning programmes in the workplace or on college sites.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Hold a teaching or training qualification, e.g. Level 3 Award in Education & Training or PTLLS or be willing to work towards within 12 months.
2. Minimum Level 2 English (GCSE A-C, or equivalent) and Minimum Level 2 Maths (GCSE, A-C, or equivalent).
3. Possess a full understanding of all aspects of Plumbing & Gas - qualifications underpinned by relevant industrial experience.
4. Direct delivery of underpinning knowledge and occupational skills to groups and/or individuals.
5. Able to demonstrate the ability to use ICT to train, assess, support, track student progress and analysis purposes including e-portfolios.
