Job Duties:
The Higher Level Teaching Assistant will support teachers in planning, preparing and delivering lessons. They will work with individuals and small groups of pupils to provide additional support and guidance. The role involves assisting in the implementation of individual education plans, monitoring pupil progress, and contributing to the overall development of the students.
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications - Enhanced DBS check - First aid training - Safeguarding training
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively with both students and teachers - Strong organisational skills - Understanding of educational policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification - Additional training in special education needs
Working Conditions:
The role involves working within a school environment, following the school's policies and procedures. The Higher Level Teaching Assistant will work closely with teachers and students, adapting to the needs of individual pupils and supporting the overall educational objectives of the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
