GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:
This position will be responsible for organizing and implementing preventative and reactive maintenance for plastic injection equipment and various auxiliary machinery, driving improvement in our machine uptime (OEE). He or she shall be responsible for driving and enforcing a safe and controlled work environment for manufacturing personnel and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This position plays a key role in driving efficiency in our Maintenance Department.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supervise hourly technicians.
2. Continued development of maintenance processes to include TPM, preventative, Root Cause Analysis, and predictive to ensure maximum machinery and equipment availability and reliability.
3. Oversee effective work order system and properly set priorities for open work orders.
4. Develop and implement policies and procedures as they relate to the maintenance functions.
5. Ensure maximum department efficiency by properly planning work tasks and schedules.
6. Responsible for development of all personnel, which includes training and coaching based on the needs of the individual and the business.
7. Control spending so that budgetary goals are met or exceeded.
8. Responsible for developing and tracking metrics to ensure that the department is continuously improving and rapidly developing into a world-class maintenance operation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach, and grasp for varying periods of time during working hours.
2. Bachelor’s degree in related technical field preferred.
3. 5-7 years supervisory experience of Maintenance / Technician in a manufacturing environment.
4. Injection molding and high-speed Assembly/Packaging experience preferred.
5. Lean manufacturing culture orientation.
6. Ability to train maintenance team members on new procedures.
