Specifically Managing the PAS 2035 process throughout projects (indicated below in role profile). Crucially ensuring compliance with the procurement, specification, and delivery of measures in all domestic retrofit projects. Guiding the decision-making process and protecting the resident’s interest from survey to handover. Provide end-to-end project coordination i.e. from the inception of a retrofit project to handover and beyond. To identify, assess and manage the technical and process risks associated with domestic retrofit project, manage the risk assessment, the dwelling assessment, the retrofit design, installation, and post-completion monitoring and evaluation The role of the Retrofit Coordinator shall be to protect both the Client’s interest and the public interest. The Retrofit Coordinator shall also be responsible for ensuring and claiming compliance with PAS 2035. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standards, providing efficient and effective technical expertise, contract management, planning and administrative support as required. At the outset of the project, the Retrofit Coordinator shall consult the with Riverside Sustainability, procurement and delivery teams and agree and record the intended outcomes of the project. Intended outcomes shall take into account the initial condition of the building(s) and be expressed in terms of one or more of the following: reductions in energy use or alleviation of fuel poverty • reductions in emissions associated with energy use • improvement in internal comfort • improvement of IAQ • elimination of condensation, damp and mould • reducing the risk of overheating • improvement in energy rating (e.g. SAP) • meeting a performance standard (e.g. NZEB or Passive House EnerPHit) • improving the usefulness or sustainability of the building • protecting the building against decay or deterioration • improving resistance to water penetration and resilience against flood risk • protection or enhancement of architectural heritage You will be required to manage the integration of energy efficiency measures alongside other improvements, e.g. extension, loft conversion or general refurbishment; and any other issues that might be considered relevant Develop the programme of works in conjunction with other stakeholders for all work for a designated number of residential properties. Manage project delivery for all planned investment works, for a designated number of residential properties, acting as project surveyor / retrofit co-ordinator to ensure quality and compliance standards and customer expectations are met, including on-site inspections during the progress of the works. Undertake contract management in accordance with the appropriate form of contract, commissioning appropriate work orders, including monitoring progress to completion in line with PAS 2035, ensuring contract obligations are fulfilled in line with agreed performance frameworks, identifying under performance and escalating via agreed routes as required. Contribute to the development and review of relevant budgets including processing payments for approved contracted works, ensuring Asset Management expenditure is robustly managed in line with the Group’s financial controls, reporting as required including escalating details of planned over/under spending as appropriate. Maintain accurate Planned Investment records, including details of component replacement works, using appropriate systems and databases, ensuring the integrity and quality of data to enable regular analysis to be carried out and reporting to be completed as required. Manage Planned Investment stakeholder and customer enquiries effectively, providing clear, supportive and accurate advice or signposting as appropriate and escalating complaints and complex queries via the appropriate channels to ensure effective resolution. Ensure internal business processes are followed in line with the Group’s policy, procedures, and statutory requirements. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures. Respond flexibly to any necessary changes in work priorities and undertake other duties when required to support the effective operation of the service. Effective stakeholder management, both internally and external to the organisation, including the ability to successfully persuade and influence others.
