Working Hours: 3 shift pattern (37.5 hours/week): 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Mon-Thurs), 6:00 AM – 11:30 AM (Fri) 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Mon-Thurs), 11:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Fri) 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM (Mon-Thurs), 5:00 PM – 22:30 PM (Fri) Contractual overtime: 1 weekend in 4, Saturday & Sunday (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) Job Description: As an Engineering Technician, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our equipment. Your core responsibilities include performing planned and corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring unplanned downtime is minimized, and contributing to the improvement of machine performance. You’ll use diagnostic techniques to resolve issues effectively and provide data-driven insights to enhance future maintenance strategies. Key duties include: Executing reactive, corrective, and planned maintenance activities. Using maintenance systems to log and analyse downtime for root cause analysis. Collaborating with production teams to identify safety and efficiency opportunities. Maintaining and updating all documentation related to machinery and tasks. Be able to problem solve procession issues and breakdowns Investigate and troubleshoot upon maintenance problems and provide correct action and advise. Skills & Experience: Proven experience in a similar Engineering Technician role. 5 years minimum ideally within a production maintenance industry. Time Served maintenance apprenticeship – as a minimum. Strong knowledge of maintenance techniques and diagnostics. Ability to analyse data and implement effective solutions. Proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving skills. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Knowledge of steam and compressed air systems (desired) Why Should You Apply?
