I ntroduction on the role: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our new Crocs store in York. As a pivotal member of our retail team, you will be a brand ambassador responsible for managing the store team, creating a positive and customer-centric environment while driving sales, managing inventory, and ensuring the overall success of the store. Inspire and lead a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment through effective communication and build a strong team culture. Coach the team to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills. Execute sales strategies to drive revenue and meet or exceed sales goals. Monitor and analyze sales and key performance metrics, providing actionable insights to improve overall store performance. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer queries and concerns promptly. Oversee the visual merchandising of the store to create an appealing store presentation, following the brand guidelines. Implement and maintain store layouts to optimize product visibility and promote a seamless shopping experience. Monitor and manage inventory levels in collaboration with the area manager, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely restocking. Uphold operational standards and best practices to ensure efficient store operations. Manage and control store expenses, including payroll, and other controllable costs to achieve budgetary goals. Collaborate with the corporate office for timely reporting and adherence to company policies and procedures. Work closely with the marketing team to execute promotional events and marketing initiatives. Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of promotional & marketing campaigns. Implement and enforce security measures to prevent theft and ensure the safety of customers and employees. Conduct regular inventory audits and implement loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage. Collaborate with relevant authorities and security services when necessary. Who are you? 2 years of store management experience Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the footwear industry. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to analyze sales & KPI reports and implement strategies for improvement. Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising best practices. Minimal travel (exceptions, annual store manager meetings, store openings support etc) What do we offer?
