What you'll do
* Working closely with the SHE Manager to drive SHE culture
* Supporting the SHE Manager to ensure the successful implementation and monitoring of policies, procedures and processes
* Creating an atmosphere in which communication through all levels of management and non-management is encouraged
* Completing audits and inspections
* Conducting investigations into accidents, incidents, injury complaints and compensation claims
* Maintaining electronic records, compiling evidence and case files for accidents, incidents, injury complaints and compensation claims
* Attending meetings to update performance with site teams
* Offering our employees and customers a high level of service by providing guidance and support on SHE matters
* Promoting continuous improvement in SHE through engagement and monitoring of standards
* Ensuring the values remain firmly embedded in the daily activities of all personnel within SC sites and retail region
Have experience of, and the ability to multi-task and work with multiple priorities calmly and at pace
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Have strong administrative and organisational skills

Desirable Skills :
* NEBOSH General Certificate or other general safety qualifications / achievements (or a desire to work towards)
* Experience of environmental management procedures, (waste, water, energy etc)
* Experience of auditing
* Engineering or machinery-based experience
* Fire Safety qualifications
* Are a strong team player, able to build good working relationships at all levels.
