The Role: We have an opportunity for a Planning Co-ordinator to join our Alliance with Anglian Water with the IMRDS Water Planned Works (Production) Department for a 12 months fixed term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient scheduling and coordination of planned water works, helping to maintain smooth operations and excellent customer service. Here are some of the activities you will be involved in… As a Planning Coordinator, you will play a vital role in organising and managing work schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring compliance with street works legislation. You will also handle customer queries and support the planning and execution of water-related projects, contributing to the overall success of our team. We would love to hear from you if… You have strong IT skills, including experience with SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Office. You should have a methodical and organised approach, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with experience in handling data while maintaining confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have experience in a planning or coordination role, preferably within construction or utilities. A good understanding of street works legislation, including the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and Traffic Management Act 2004, would be an advantage. You should be confident in problem-solving, managing multiple tasks, and working under tight deadlines. We are also looking for someone with a commitment to safety and compliance, strong teamworking skills, and the ability to challenge and improve existing processes.
