Your new role
As Assistant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the business. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure our team is running smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Provide sales order confirmation to customers
Maintain & update sales order confirmation to all customers
Review shipping and delivery requirements for customers
Coordinate andmunicate shipping instructions to factories
Liaise with suppliers on production progress
Monitor delivery schedules with warehouses
Book orders for key accounts and send invoices
Answer queries from credit control, finance department, customers and suppliers
Process stock into inventory, allocate and raise on booking forms
Assist with ad-hoc tasks related to sales and purchase orders
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum two years of experience
Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets
Previous experience in a similar role
Retail sector experience desirable
Strong customer service experience
Administrative experience
