What We Need As a Product Architect you will be responsible for developing architectural and design principles to improve performance, capacity and scalability of our SuperApp product. This role will own the roadmap in collaboration with the product owner and work with internal and external stakeholders, analysing their needs and priorities, to align the product roadmap to our Yum And our brands’ strategic business goals. This role requires a combination of strong collaboration and partnership, analysis, and complex decision-making skills. As a a leader of a global team, you will be experienced in developing individuals whilst aligning them behind a collective vision, strategy and necessary changes to operations in order to optimise working practices whilst evolving and shaping a fun, connected and results-driven team culture. Responsibilities: Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product. Solve product related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments. Draft key objectives and results, strategies and apply the data for the product to make business decisions. Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product. Accountable for the created product(s), delivering in the product model and communicating the product needs with business partners. Understand product vision and business needs to define product requirements and product architectural solutions. Perform design, development and support of existing and new products. Work with Delivery Manager in planning and execution of new product releases. Consult business management team to clarify objectives and functional requirements for new or modified products. Work with domain, product management and product engineering teams in the solution engineering efforts. Work with pre-sales and product management teams in solution demonstrations. Maintain product roadmap and architectural standards that assure product development projects optimally align with business objectives. Define product validation policies to deliver products that meet system and project expectations. Facilitate the creation, review, and sign-off project deliverables. Provide support for production escalations and problem resolution for customers. Assist technical team with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems knowledge. Develop broad knowledge about current and future product features. Analyze market segments and customer base to develop market solutions. Define product requirements that address market opportunities. Work closely with delivery management, architect and senior management in order to create a product that fits the company portfolio. Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product Follow our competitors and the industry Increase an understanding of Agile practices, Lean Startup, new technologies opportunities and other new trends Lead by example, occasionally diving into hands-on development or conducting code reviews. Evaluate and enforce engineering best practices, maintaining high standards across the board. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a strong focus on React and NodeJS Proficiency in AWS cloud services and architecture, with practical experience in deploying scalable applications in the cloud. Minimum of 1 year in a leadership role managing global teams. Proven experience in developing architectural and design principles for high-performance applications. Demonstrable experience with scalable systems and understanding of scalability practices. Strong analytical and decision-making skills with experience in trade-off analysis. Experience in product management, including drafting key objectives and strategies. Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Solid understanding of product validation policies and QA methodologies. Experience in agile development methodologies and understanding of Lean Startup principles. Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of being the voice of the client and acting as an ambassador for the product. Ability to work a flexible working hours supporting both Vietnam USA. Ability to work under pressure. 1 years in a software support role Preferred Requirements: Familiarity with ticket tracking tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence) Experience with SuperApp products or similar complex platforms. Experience within QSR Restaurant Technology team member space Demonstrable success in aligning product roadmaps with strategic business goals. Experience in managing product lifecycles from inception to delivery and support. Advanced knowledge of current and emerging technologies, market trends, and competitive landscape.
