Overview of a Planning Technical Officer:
Pertemps have an exciting opportunity within Harrow Council for a self-driven and motivated Planning Technical Officer join an expanding team. The role of a Planning Technical Officer has a competitive pay rate of £22. 00 Umbrella per hour.
The Main Purpose of a Planning Technical Officer:
1. To provide assistance as required with the registration of incoming planning applications including the paying in of fees to the appropriate income codes and returning under or over paid fees.
2. Update date planning applications files following decision stage
3. Assessing new applications for planning, building control, enforcement and appeals when received through the various channels and advising applicants on progress of applications
4. To respond as appropriate to telephone, postal, Email and face to face enquiries coming into Access Harrow, resolving customer issues and complaints effectively ensuring the highest standards of customer care are maintained al all times
About you, the successful Planning Technical Officer will have:
5. Must have previous experience in a similar role
6. Must have a degree qualification in Planning
7. Must have knowledge of Planning
8. Candidates that recently graduated with a Planning or Building Control degree will be considered for this role
