Job Purpose We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity within our Children and Young Persons Team at The Haven Wolverhampton for the position of Playworker. Play is a vital element in supporting the wellbeing of children, young people, and families. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in play and child development to create enriching and inclusive play experiences. By facilitating these opportunities, you will help foster a sense of normalcy and positivity for children and young people in our care. As a Playworker, you will play a key role in enhancing the experiences of children and young people across our various refuge settings. With creativity, enthusiasm, and dedication, you will design and deliver engaging play activities while providing essential family support. Your work will contribute to a welcoming and secure environment where families feel valued and at ease. Working collaboratively with our Children and Young Persons therapeutic team and the accommodation team, you will adopt a whole-family approach under the guidance of the Children and Young Persons Lead. A central aspect of your role will be ensuring that all children and young people in our care have access to high-quality, holistic play opportunities that embrace diversity and inclusivity.
