The Group Head of Transfer Pricing will be responsible for supporting and ensuring compliance of MBDA's hugely interesting, unusual and technically sophisticated transfer pricing model as the business goes through a period of significant growth and change.

Salary: Circa £100,000 depending on experience
Location: Stevenage, Bolton or Bristol sites (We may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification
Security Clearance: Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.
The opportunity:
MBDA is looking to appoint an outstanding senior transfer pricing professional to lead the Group's Transfer Pricing activities.
As the Group's Transfer Pricing lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the Group's transfer pricing arrangements are in compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations and you will manage the Group's tax expense in a way that is consistent with its values and its legal obligations in all relevant jurisdictions.
Reporting to the Group Taxation Director, the Transfer Pricing Leader will be a key member of the Senior Tax Team. This role will be very high profile within the group and you will need to operate and influence at senior levels within the business.
The Role
* Leading on APA and other highly technical transfer pricing topics
* Ownership delivery and design improvement of existing operational transfer pricing process
* Working with existing tax team and outside advisors to deliver transfer pricing documentation
* Manage / oversee our broader compliance with transfer pricing requirements in all jurisdictions
* Advise on any potential transfer pricing topics arising from the Group's operations, such as new business lines or approaches, entry into new geographical locations, etc.
* Leading or working with the Local Tax Managers to support transfer pricing audits
* Provide training and coaching to country tax staff across the Group, improving their skills to provide high quality tax support.
What we're looking for from you:
* Around 10 years+ of experience as a transfer pricing senior manager or director in Accounting Firms or industry
* Strong experience of residual profit splits, intangible transaction arrangements, APAs, cost sharing agreements, and a thorough knowledge of OECD, BEPS TP guidelines
* Ability to conduct functional analysis and economic analysis and prepare documentation independently
* Familiarity with supporting delivery of unilateral / multilateral advanced pricing agreements
* Experience of tax authority transfer pricing audits in Europe and preferably wider
* Strong technical and analytical abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently
* Strong skills in communicating with a global, diverse group of colleagues
* Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
* A high level of personal commitment and to be self-motivated, innovative, flexible, a team player, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
* Aerospace and/or Defence experience is preferred.
* Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential, strong command of French, Italian or German is desirable
