What you'll be doing
* Building software solutions for robotic systems, automated machinery, and bespoke industrial projects.
* Integrating hardware like vision systems, sensors, and motion controls with software that brings them to life.
* Collaborating with engineers from multiple disciplines to create systems that don't just work, they excel.
* Developing HMI systems that make these complex systems user-friendly.
* Problem-solving on the fly, whether it's in the office, the lab, or a client's site.
What we need from you
* Experience writing software for automation systems. Whether it's robotics, high-speed machinery, or packaging systems, you've done it.
* A knack for programming in C# .NET (or similar languages). If you've also worked with PLC control systems or vision systems, bonus points.
* A solid understanding of integrating systems, whether that's motion controls, robotics, or sensors.
* A degree in Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or something similar, or hands-on experience that speaks louder than a piece of paper.
* Independence, initiative, and the ability to deliver solutions on your own and as part of a team.
* A valid UK driver's licence, you'll need it for occasional travel.
