Job Title: Clinical Education Facilitator
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

We are seeking a highly motivated and forward-thinking individual for the role of Clinical Education Facilitator within our NMAHP team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an AHP/Nurse/Nursing Associate/Midwife to support our expanding work streams of clinical skills, preceptorship, and the care certificate.
Main Responsibilities:
The post holder will support newly qualified, new in post (Health Care Assistants) and international nursing recruits within the clinical environment to develop practice that is of the highest standard, patient-centered, and evidence-based.
The post holder will coordinate the pastoral support of learners across various programmes and initiatives supported by the team, and facilitate the teaching of various sessions delivered by the NMAHP team.

Job Responsibilities:
This band 5 role requires working in partnership with the Clinical & Professional teams to ensure high-quality multi-professional learning environments.
The post holder will provide pastoral and professional support to Health Care Support Workers, Preceptees, and Trust staff, and support the delivery of training programs including the Care Certificate Programme, Preceptorship, and Clinical Skills.
The post holder will also support the development of clinical practice mentors/ practice supervisors/ assessors, providing supervision and support structures to build education in practice capability, consistency, and efficiency.
Person Specification:
NMC or HCPC Registrant:
Essential:
1. Registered with the NMC or HCPC
2. Experience supporting healthcare support workers and junior staff
Desirable:
1. Teaching experience
2. Clinical skills experience
Completed Preceptorship:
Essential:
1. Minimum of 12 months experience
2. Experience supporting support workers
Desirable:
1. Confident talking to groups of staff
2. Confident communication skills
3. Preceptor experience
