Assistant Site Manager – Mixed-Use Development – South East London
We’re working with a leading main contractor delivering a standout mixed-use development in the heart of South East London. This architecturally striking scheme will bring over 130 new homes, commercial spaces, and landscaped areas to a growing part of the capital.
As an Assistant Site Manager, you’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of this high-profile project, working closely with the Site and Project Managers to ensure smooth daily operations, health & safety compliance, subcontractor coordination, and quality control across the build.
What you’ll be doing:
Supporting the Site Manager and the project team in the day-to-day running of the site
Supervising trades and subcontractors to ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard
Managing health & safety on site, conducting inductions and ensuring best practices
Helping to coordinate site logistics, materials, and deliveries
Monitoring progress against programme and assisting with reportingWhat we’re looking for:
Previous experience in a similar Assistant Site Manager role, ideally with a main contractor working on residential scheme
Internal trade background preferred
Knowledge of residential construction and RC frame projects
SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification
Strong communication skills, proactive attitude, and attention to detailWhy join?
