English Teacher – Wellington, Somerset – Immediate Start
Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Wellington, Somerset. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and deliver high-quality English lessons at KS3 and KS4, with the potential for a permanent role.
Responsibilities:
1. Support students in developing strong literacy and analytical skills
2. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to aid development
3. Work collaboratively with the English department to enhance learning outcomes
4. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Minimum Requirements:
1. A qualified English Teacher (QTS/PGCE) or equivalent
2. Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 English (A-Level experience desirable but not essential)
3. Strong classroom management skills and a passion for student success
4. Ability to create engaging and differentiated lessons
5. Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
