Variable Hours
Kingston College and South Thames College are now looking for a bank of variable hours Examination Invigilators to manage the College’s external examinations, particularly at the key points of January and mid-May to end of June.
Responsibilities include ensuring the examination venues are arranged in accordance with awarding body regulations, collecting exam materials from the exams office punctually prior to the start of examinations, and managing the entry of candidates into exam venues while ensuring their belongings and unauthorized items are appropriately stored. You will open and distribute question papers, complete the attendance register while identifying students, complete the Examinations’ Diary as appropriate, and maintain vigilance throughout the examination.
With previous experience in examination administration, you’ll be reliable and punctual with the ability to control an examination venue containing up to 400 candidates. Able to work under pressure, you’ll be a team player with excellent communication skills.
