Validation Specialist
Do you have proven experience in validating, implementing, and maintaining laboratory equipment and wish to develop your IT knowledge? If so, this position could be perfect for you!
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will be able to develop your knowledge working with laboratory equipment used for testing and releasing products for patients. This is an autonomous role where you will be able to create and make improvements to existing procedures. There is flexibility for some remote working in this role; however, you will be required to be on site in Stevenage.
Job Purpose
To provide support to the Biopharmaceutical Central Testing Laboratory (BioCTL) with setting up, validating, and maintaining laboratory equipment in compliance with regulatory requirements and GSK IT policies.
In this role you will:
1. Set up, validate, and maintain laboratory instruments.
2. Maintain the Site Equipment and Systems Register.
3. Ensure analytical data is backed up.
4. Manage access to laboratory instruments and IT systems.
5. Ensure that the security of laboratory instruments and IT systems is maintained.

1. Computer systems validation/data integrity.
2. Experience using or supporting laboratory equipment.
