We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic HR Assistant to join our luxury hotel situated in the heart of Victoria.
The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are eager to support and contribute to the daily operations of the HR department. The position is a fixed-term contract for three months, covering maternity leave.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assist in recruitment processes, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
2. Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
3. Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, including preparing materials and conducting orientation sessions.
4. Process employee requests and inquiries related to HR policies and procedures.
5. Support performance management, employee relations, and training programs.
6. Help prepare and distribute HR reports, presentations, and communications.
7. Assist with payroll administration.
8. Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
Requirements
1. Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is a plus.
2. Strong organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
3. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
4. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
6. Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
