You will be part of a global middle office trade support technology team. You will be based in London and part of the broader London team working with local stakeholders and Global colleagues. 2. You will interact with external clients representing Jefferies 3. Highly desirable that candidates are familiar with the Fidessa Equity Trading platforms, and allocation workflows in the Fidessa CTAC (Client Trade Allocation Confirmation) module 4. Candidate will work with local middle office groups to support their daily allocation workflows in the Fidessa CTAC application and surrounding platforms, including but not limited to Investigating and troubleshooting: Middle Office allocation issues with CTM, FIX 4.4, Tag 1 pre-allocation, allocation templates and manual allocation workflows. blocks sent to the Fidessa CTAC by the upstream Fidessa global trading platforms. blocks sent by a proprietary Jefferies system that sends in blocks into the Fidessa CTAC system from Jefferies’ proprietary algorithmic and DMA trading systems. affirmed allocations passing from the Fidessa CTAC application to downstream Jefferies systems. 5. Initially become familiar with, growing into becoming an Subject Matter Expert in a proprietary in-house Jefferies application that is tightly integrated with the Fidessa CTAC application that: Passes in the blocks to CTAC over FIX from the proprietary Jefferies Algorithmic and DMA trading systems. Passes affirmed allocations from the Fidessa CTAC application to downstream Jefferies proprietary systems. 6. Follow the local and global JIRA processes for end-user enhancement requests and bug fixes. 7. Participate in designing new Fidessa CTAC allocation functionality. 8. Locally manage software releases, communication, and post release application check outs. 9. Supply relevant management information as required. 10. Build, test and install software in our Prod and UAT environments. 11. Engage in the testing of new build releases and the implementation of new workflows overseen by our project team. Requirements: 1. Demonstrable experience on investment industry/financial markets across different equity business such as CASH/ETS/SWAP/Derivative/FX etc. 2. Knowledge of global equity trading and allocation workflows 3. Experience with Fidessa CTAC module and Fidessa FDM 4. Familiarity with CTM Trade Management, and Traiana Trade Reports a benefit 5. Knowledge of FIX protocol and good SQL skills are strongly preferred 6. Experience having technically supported a trading or allocation system, such as configuring layouts, updating registry files, showing users how to install and launch application, etc. 7. A natural problem solver with good diagnostics skills using written and verbal communication in English 8. Have a collaborative and adaptable outlook. 9. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. 10. Ability to work under pressure and manage to deadlines in this the fast-paced environment.
