Pastry Chef / Baker – French Family-Owned Restaurant – Surbiton
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a French family-owned restaurant based in Surbiton, South West London. Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef / Baker to join their warm and professional kitchen team.
About the Role:
* Full-time position: 6 AM – 3 PM
* Focus on high-quality, handmade breads and pastries – strong bread knowledge required
* Friendly, supportive working environment
* Restaurant is closed during the Christmas holidays and for several days in August
* Competitive salary offered
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef, ideally within a French-style bakery or restaurant
* A passion for artisanal baking and traditional techniques
* Must have the right to work in the UK
* Based within 1 hour of Surbiton to ensure a reliable commute
