We are seeking a French Teacher to join our team of staff in supporting local vibrant and inclusive secondary schools. The Role As a French Teacher, you will: Deliver high-quality lessons in French to students at Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially Key Stage 5. Plan and prepare engaging lessons that promote language acquisition, cultural appreciation, and a love for learning. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to enhance their language skills. Inspire students to develop confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in French Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the delivery of an enriching modern foreign languages curriculum. Participate in extracurricular activities, such as language clubs or exchange programs, to support students’ language learning. About You We are seeking a motivated and skilled French Teacher who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Has a strong command of the French language and a deep understanding of French culture. Has experience teaching French at secondary school level (Key Stage 3 and 4 essential; Key Stage 5 desirable). Is a confident communicator with excellent classroom management skills. Demonstrates a passion for languages and a commitment to student success. Is organised, proactive, and adaptable, with a willingness to engage in the wider school community. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
