As a Customer Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for the effective administration and management of customer issues. Your main duties will include:
1. Monitoring the Customer Services inbox to ensure prompt and accurate handling of customer enquiries.
2. Logging and managing all telephone calls, emails, and portal enquiries from customers.
3. Preparing and issuing weekly reports and exception reports, as directed by the Customer Support Manager.
4. Liaising with the claims department as necessary and providing feedback to the technical department on defective materials and design errors.
5. Ensuring all relevant documentation is updated and logged on time.
6. Allocating work to the customer support operative team, site teams, and contractors to address issues.
7. Coordinating inspections as required.
8. Overseeing the work of contractors and reporting any poor outcomes to the Customer Director.
9. Balancing and coordinating the scheduling of customer support operatives.
10. Ordering materials, processing purchase orders and invoices, raising payment requests as required.
11. Management of outstanding issues and escalating when necessary.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. Previous experience in a customer support or coordination role, ideally within a construction or related industry.
2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to confidently liaise with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
3. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
4. Proficiency in using customer relationship management systems.
5. A proactive and solution-focused mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
