About the Role
As a Developer Relations Manager, your role is to engage, educate, and empower developers. You will be responsible for crafting compelling technical content, building an engaged developer community, and acting as a bridge between users and the internal product team. Your work will ensure developers can easily understand, adopt, and make the most of the platform.
Key Responsibilities
* Content Development: Create in-depth blog posts, tutorials, videos, and webinars that explain the platform's capabilities and best practices.
* Community Building: Foster an active and supportive developer community through social media, forums, and GitHub. Answer questions, provide guidance, and encourage knowledge-sharing.
* Developer Advocacy: Gather insights from users and provide feedback to product and engineering teams to refine features and roadmap priorities.
* Onboarding & Documentation: Develop clear and comprehensive guides, API documentation, and sample projects to help developers get started quickly.
* Technical Partnerships: Collaborate with external technology partners to create integrated content and showcase real-world use cases.
* Internal Knowledge Sharing: Keep internal teams informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and community feedback.
What You'll Need
* Experience: 3+ years in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or a similar role.
* Technical Background: Hands-on coding experience with APIs, webhooks, and RESTful services.
* Content Creation Skills: Proven ability to produce high-quality technical content, including sample code and tutorials.
* Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience with public speaking is a plus.
* Tool Familiarity: Knowledge of Markdown, API documentation tools (such as Swagger), and basic HTML/CSS is beneficial.
