Location: Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire
Salary: £85 – £105 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only

A forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Berkhamsted is seeking a dedicated and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join their pastoral team. This role is perfect for someone with experience in youth work, education, or mentoring who is looking to positively impact the lives of students who need additional behavioural support.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students with behavioural, emotional, and social needs, both in and out of class.
Build strong, positive relationships with students to help them re-engage with learning.
Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and parents to implement tailored strategies.
Help maintain a safe and inclusive school environment.
Deliver small group or 1:1 mentoring sessions focused on behaviour, self-esteem, and personal development.
✅ The Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with young people in an educational or youth support setting.
Calm, empathetic, and solution-focused.
Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
A team player who can also work independently.
A genuine passion for helping students succeed—academically and emotionally.
Ideal for:

Psychology or education graduates.
Individuals with a background in mentoring, coaching, or SEN support.
