Camp Dates:
* February Half-Term: 17th–21st February 2025 (5 days)
* Easter Half-Term: 7th–11th April 2025 (5 days) and 14th–18th April 2025 (4 days)
About Us:
At Next Thing Education, we specialize in inspiring the next generation of creators, inventors, and coders through after-school clubs, holiday camps, and workshops. Our camps provide children aged 5–11 with opportunities to explore activities like robotics, app creation, Minecraft, circuitry, and engineering.
We focus on developing teamwork, problem-solving, and logical skills while creating a fun and inclusive environment. With camps running in over 170 schools across the South East, we’re committed to delivering enriching experiences for children and their families.
Role Overview: Activity Leader
As an Activity Leader, you’ll be responsible for:
* Supervising a group of up to 15 children aged 5–11.
* Conducting 3–4 engaging activities per day, including STEM workshops and creative challenges.
* Creating a positive, fun, and safe environment for all participants.
* Supporting children in learning new skills while fostering teamwork and creativity.
* Assisting with setup, clean-up, and daily camp operations.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience Working with Children: Ideal for teachers, childcare professionals, or those with experience in education or camps.
* Energy and Enthusiasm: A passion for inspiring and engaging young minds.
* Organizational Skills: Ability to manage schedules and ensure smooth transitions between activities.
* Adaptability: Comfortable with learning and delivering activities involving technology and teamwork.
* Strong Communication Skills: Effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
