An exciting opportunity has arisen for a mental health carers worker working within the adult community mental health team in Fareham.
You will have the opportunity to be part of a friendly, forward thinking team and provide support to carers and families of people with severe and enduring mental health needs that are under the CMHT.
The work is varied and interesting and there is a strong team approach ensuring good support for the successful applicant. The role requires lone working, use of initiative, safeguarding knowledge, a commitment to team working and carer empowerment.
You will receive regular supervision and support from the wider Trust. You will need knowledge of mental health problems and have some experience of working with carers or experience of being a carer.
Valid driving license and access to suitable vehicle for work purposes is essential.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work with carers and family of patients and partner agencies to provide support services to carers of our patient group in the community.

Qualifications
* Literacy and numeracy skills

* Car driver able to fulfil the travel requirements of the post
