Description We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced person who can supervise & deliver Arboricultural operations within the business remit of Cormac Solutions Ltd, including Cornwall Council owned asset, property managed by Cormac, plus works undertaken for a number of external clients. About the role Duties comprise of the organisation of resources & personnel relevant to a team of Cormac arborists & sub-contractors on a day-to-day basis & will cover tasks which will include all aspects of Arboricultural operations & to ensure specification standard BS3998 is adhered to. Duties also include the control & maintenance of equipment & also include the supervision & undertaking of other Arboricultural related tasks including tree planting activities & an ongoing establishment programme. About you Applicants will have strong commercial instincts & the ability to see works carried out to a high standard. NPTC Qualifications to CS41 as a minimum, Level 4 Tech cert Arb or above is desirable alongside ability to demonstrate industry CPD, C1E Driving license & other land-based skills & qualifications. Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively with colleagues & clients is essential together with a flexible attitude to work demands & an innovative approach to topics & issues. You will work closely with a team of tree officers & work programmers to ensure good communication, consistency & work deadlines are met. This is a key role to undertake specialist Arboricultural works as part of a team, that’s main focus is Arboricultural, Countryside & Landscape activities, all within a given geographical area of West Cornwall.
