The Role: You will join our academic and support teams in the delivery of Level 1, 2, 3, T Level and HNC computing qualification in our state of art computing suites and labs. You will play a pivotal role in providing support for our academic team and students supporting the safe use of our state of the art facility. With great organisational skills you will be able to advise and support students through their lab and practical work making sure they have a safe access to our resource and are able to learn effectively. You will collaborate with our college IT support team facilitating the smooth service for our computing students so they are able to achieve their qualification requirements. You will maintain our equipment and technology to the highest standards to ensure we can provide students with a safe and relevant learning experience. The ideal candidate will be able to work with students offering them support and guidance in our labs. While also supporting our computing academic team with lesson preparation and the effective delivery of lessons in our lab and computing facility. You will also support marketing events and examinations. Ongoing staff training and support is available as part of our professional development for curriculum staff. You should have a clear understanding of the health and safety requirements and be able to implement risk assessments. You will also manage our stock control and be involved in the procurement of resources for the department.
