Unite People are working with a specialist civils and infrastructure contractor to hire a Site Manager for a 4 month project near Nottingham. The successful candidate will take control of one of these schemes and be responsible for overseeing delivery of water infrastructure work including pumping stations, ducting and modifying or constructing new dosing kiosks.
Key Requirements:
* SMSTS
* CSCS Card (Gold or Black preferred)
* First Aid at Work certification
* Previous experience of working in heavy infrastructure i.e water, flood defence, environment agency scheme or utilities.
* Previous experience of being a number one Site Manager within civils & infrastructure, delivering schemes on programme and on budget.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage daily site operations.
* Coordinate with project managers, engineers the client.
* Supervise site staff and subcontractors
* Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site.
* Oversee health and safety protocols on-site
* Report project progress to the main contractor
* Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the refurbishment
